

Dr. Tonya Merriweather Gipson Miller
Rev. Dr. Tonya Elaine Gipson Miller has built a multifaceted ministry of service that intertwines faith, leadership, media, and education, dedicating herself to the body of Christ and empowering others through numerous platforms. A pastor’s wife and daughter, Dr. Gipson Miller brings a unique perspective as both a leader and nurturer in Christian ministry. With over 45 years of experience, she serves extensively in roles as Pastor, Preacher, Teacher, Life Coach, and Business Owner, and she continues to expand her influence across digital media, publishing, and international ministry.

Dr. Gipson Miller’s media presence is notable, with her hosting shows like Sisters In The Ministry, Women Empowerment with Dr. T, Worship with Pastor T, Let’s Talk About It and More, and Talk It Out With Gilbert and Miller. These programs, available on major platforms such as Apple Podcasts, Spotify, iHeart Radio, Amazon Music, and Deezer, provide avenues for spiritual education, encouragement, and engagement with believers from various backgrounds.

As an Author, she has published over 42 books. Dr. Miller is also a publisher and owns AtoZ Publishing. Dr. Gipson Miller has used her publishing company to release magazines aimed at specific community needs, including Pastoring Today, Today’s Black Executive, The Family Knook, and Black Women in Business, reflecting her commitment to holistic Christian growth and empowerment for individuals and families. Through her 7 Channels on LV Network on Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV, and Cross TV, she reaches a broad audience with faith-based, family-friendly content that emphasizes Christian values.

Her background also includes founding the Today’s Black Urban Theater and Film Awards, which honors Black excellence in urban theater, and the Merriweather Bible Institute, where she serves as President. Additionally, she co-founded Merriweather Global Ministries with her father the late Rev. Dr. J.E. Merriweather an international ministry aimed at evangelism and soul-winning, she also founded Tabernacle of Praise Church where she Co-Pastors with her husband.
In music, Dr. Gipson Miller is an International Recording Artist and experienced worship leader, ministering in worship services locally and abroad for over 20 years and can be heard on all Music Streaming Platforms.

Dr. Gipson Miller’s influence extends into academia, with degrees in Biblical Theology, Biblical Studies, Church and Business Administration, and Early Childhood Education. Her service has included serving on the committee for the National Prayer Breakfast for over a decade and playing an advisory role for Ghana’s "Year of Return" headed up by the Ambassador of Ghana. She has been honored with keys to the cities of Gadsden and Anniston, Alabama, where she was raised, and was recently appointed President of the Women In Ministry Auxiliary for the Mt. Bethel Baptist Association.

In her personal life, she is married to Rev. Dr. T. Welcome Miller Jr., with whom she shares four children. Dr. Gipson Miller’s guiding motto, “Lord, I am available. What can I do for you today?” underscores her commitment to God and her community, reflecting a lifelong dedication to spiritual leadership and service.
